Executive Director of South AustinSend Message
In March 2016, Greg came on board with D&S as the Executive Director of South Austin. Greg’s experience with Texas HCS services comes from his move to Texas in 2014 to help support his previous HCS program in expanding their services from Utah to Austin, Texas. Greg attended Utah Valley University where, in 2013, he received his Bachelor of Science in Emergency Services Administration. Greg’s entire career has been working with individuals with intellectual disabilities in HCS programs. His first experience in human services was while working for a program similar to D&S as a Direct Support Professional while studying for his degree. After working for a year and a half as a DSP, Greg was prompted to the position of Residential Manager. After a year and a half in that role, he was again promoted to the position of Associate Director where he managed a group of HCS homes and the managers that oversaw them.
In Greg’s spare time he enjoys fly fishing, watching football, playing softball, trying new foods, and exploring Austin with his dog. Greg is excited for the opportunity to grow and expand his knowledge in the field of human services as well as the opportunity to make a difference daily in the lives of those supported by D&S.
