Send MessageAmy was born and raised in San Angelo Texas. She attended Angelo State University and obtained her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing. Amy began her first job at the San Angelo State Supported Living Center in 1995 and realized early on that she had a passion for working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Amy became a part of the D&S team in 2001. She worked in the San Angelo area as an LVN, then as an RN in 2004, and was promoted to Executive Director in 2006. Amy’s hobbies include her children, a daughter, Taylor, and son, Brock. Amy is known to constantly be on the go with basketball, track, football, and several other activities that her children participate in. Amy loves to bake for her family and employees. When asked what her favorite part of working in this field is she replied, “No matter how bad of a day I may be having when I see one of the individuals we care for with a smile on their face or they grab me and give me a big hug, I know it’s all going to be okay”.
