Program Director of CookevilleSend Message
Deborah Mendez is originally from Michigan, where she first began enjoying her employment of working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She started out as a DSP 15 years ago. As Deborah continued to learn more about this field, she changed positions to Med Coordinator/Program Coordinator.
Deborah adopted 2 beautiful little girls, at ages 18 months and 3 years, whom later were both diagnosed with their own intellectual disabilities.
In 2003, Deborah relocated to Tennessee, where she was blessed to be able to continue her employment in the field of working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Deborah was able to join the D&S Community Services family as a Program Director in the year of 2012, where she continues to learn in a field that she has great passion for.
