Robert joined D&S in September 2011 and has over 35 years of experience in serving persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He serves as the Chief Compliance Officer and Vice President of Texas Operations.
Robert has held several executive management and supervisory positions in his career including:
- Director of Brenham State Supported Living Center which is a large ICF facility serving over 300 individuals and employing 1,100 staff.
- Chief Financial Officer for Bluebonnet Trails Community Center which is the local authority serving people with mental illness and/or intellectual disabilities for an 8-county area around Austin.
- Director of Budget and Finance for Capital Area State Operated Community Services
- Supervising Management Auditor for the legacy Texas Department of MHMR
Robert holds a BBA from Texas State University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Tyler. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
