D&S Community Services is a provider of Home and Community Based Services (HCS) and Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) programs in Austin, Texas. We have 11 HCS Group Homes and 4 Intermediate Care Facilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities (ICF-IID) with plans to grow. Many of our homes can be modified to meet individual needs – including wheelchair accessibility. Our South Austin area even offers a few homes specifically for those who are deaf or hearing impaired. Services provided in the South Austin Area include Supported Home Living services (SHL), Host Homes, Texas Home Living (TxHmL), respite care, community activities, transportation, day habilitation programs and more.
D&S Community Services is a leading, full-service provider with highly trained staff committed to providing premium quality care with an emphasis on in-house professional expertise, medical care and behavior support services. Our staff includes Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), Registered Nurses (RN) and Case Service Managers. Our Quality Assurance team provides guidance and oversight to ensure adherence to state regulations and industry standards, promoting the highest level of care possible for the individuals we support.
Our residential programs and services for the intellectually challenged make the most of the South Austin community. Our area offers a wide range of events from music concerts, food festivals and sports competitions and museums and our folks enjoy participating in all of it. You can window shop along South Congress and at dusk you can watch the bats leave the South Congress bridge and anytime during the day you can find some sort of Longhorn sports going on, which is a team that our guys and gals love to support.
